When it rains, it pours.

VH1 has announced the cancellation of the reality show Ev & Ocho after Chad Johnson was arrested for domestic violence over the weekend. It’s another item amongst a laundry list of things that is contributing to Johnson’s demise. The 34-year old was cut from the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, which is the same day he was released from jail.

Johnson allegedly head-butted Evelyn Lozada on Saturday after she found a receipt for condoms in the trunk of his car. He was arrested and later released from jail on $2,500 bond. Johnson was charged with simple domestic battery, which is a misdemeanor.

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series Ev & Ocho from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it,” the network said in a statement.

The newlyweds fight came barely a month after Johnson married Lozada on July 4th. The reality show chronicled the events leading up to the wedding and the ceremony. The Ev & Ocho show was scheduled to air on September 3rd.

Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada while the two argued in their Smart car, the Sun Sentinel reports. The Basketball Wives star then ran to a neighbor’s house and called the police. Meanwhile, Johnson started screaming: “I don’t give a f…, I don’t give a f… about my career!”

Lozada has a laceration that is approximately three inches in length, according to the police report. Johnson told police he yelled “f— it” and his wife head butted him causing the laceration.

We’re almost positive that a divorce will be the next option for these two.
