Charlotte Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas wife Jamie Patrice Thomas and Bobcats guard Ben Gordon’s fiancée Sascha Smith were among four people arrested after a party at Label night club.

The four people resisted arrest around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the club where a party was hosted by Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul. Thomas, Smith and two another females tried to rob another woman of her cell phone and purse before hitting a security guard at the scene, WCNC Charlotte reports.

Thomas, 26, tried to flee the scene. She hit a security guard with her car for the second time before she tried to drive off. Charlotte police had to force Thomas out of the car.

“Officers gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the driver window,” Charlotte police said in a statement. “A female inside of the vehicle, Shassity Stevenson, began pulling Thomas back inside of the vehicle away from the officers. During the struggle officers had to utilize force in order to extract Thomas from the vehicle via the driver’s side door of the vehicle.”

Stevenson, 28, and Smith, 22, were also charged with resisting a public officer when they refused to get out while in the car with Thomas. A fourth woman, 22-year-old Morgan Williams, was charged with robbery for allegedly stealing the victim’s purse.

Thomas was charged with DWI, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and resisting a public officer. She was taken to Carolinas Medical Center to receive treatment before being taken to jail.
