Former Bet’s 106 & Park co-host Terrence J is moving on up in the world of entertainment.

Terrence J, who now will be known as Terrence Jenkins, has officially been named the new co-anchor of E! News. He replaces Ryan Seacrest who left the show in January because of his busy workload, which includes American Idol, executive producing  numerous reality shows, and his daily radio morning show. The Think Live a Man star begins his new job on November 17 with co-host Giuliana Rancic.

“Having Giuliana and Terrence for the weeknight program, and Jason and Catt for weekends, gives us a quartet of skilled, popular broadcast journalists and will give viewers a fun, fresh look at pop culture news,” said E! President of Network Strategy and E! News Cyndi McClellan.

Jenkins and co-host Rosci Diaz announced their departures from left 106 & Park earlier this year after seven years on the show. BET has not announced their replacements.
