Subway Fashion Show Has Models In Clothes Made Of Sandwich Wrappers

Subway held a Project Runway inspired competition fashion show during New York Fashion Week.
Four designers created two dresses using only materials from Subway restaurants for the fashion show held on Wednesday at Chelsea Piers’ Pier 59 Studios. Items such as sandwich wrappers, napkins, salad bowls and gift cards were their choices.
Models wore the outfits made from 1,500 sandwich wrappers, 1,100 plastic sandwich bags, 500 gift cards, 200 straws, 100 salad bowls, 75 pizza boxes, and 400 cookie bags.
Subway Jared Fogle was the host of the event and Scary Spice served as one of the four judges.
Designer Danilo Gabrielli was chosen as the winner. He won a year’s supply of Subway Footlongs. Gabrielli said he spent 14 hours over the course of two weeks making the dresses. Check out a few more photos from the fashion show below.
