The Miami Heat won its second straight NBA title Thursday night.
The Heat was able to hold off the San Antonio Spurs with a 95-88 victory in Game 7 of the NBA finals. Lebron James finished with a game-high 37 points to win back-to-back Finals MVP for his monstrous effort.
During James’ speech on the podium, he discounted the naysayers with the comment, “I’m just a kid from Akron, Ohio and that he’s not even supposed to be “here.” He also quoted a verse from Lil Wayne, “I ain’t got no worries.”
After the Heat celebrated on the court and in the locker rooms, they took the party to Story nightclub in South Beach. They popped bottles of champagne and got food from Prime 112 and Big Pink delivered to the club. Pat Riley, Drake, Savannah Brinson, Gabrielle Union, Faith Rein and other Heat wives partied with the players. Check out a few photos below.
