Say What: Ohio State QB Cardale Jones Says Going to Class is Pointless [Details]

Ohio State freshman quarterback Cardale Jones hasn’t even finished one semester of college, and he’s already complaining.
Jones posted one of the dumbest comments he could make on Twitter on Friday morning. The freshman wanted the world to know that it is unfair that football players have to go to class. Jones believes players are strictly there to play ball and not for an education.
While some athletes may agree with Jones, the bulk of them want to earn a degree just in case sports fizzles out. Jones tweeted:
Shortly after posting the comment, Jones’ Twitter account was deactivated. We’re almost certain his coach Urban Meyer is not pleased. The third-string quarterback probably will have plenty of running to do in practice.
