The tragic death of actor Paul Walker has affected his family, friends and fans pretty hard.

The Fast and Furious star died on Saturday in Santa Clarita, California after a car he was a passenger in lost control and hit a light pole and a tree. Walker remained a trending topic on social media websites because of the outpouring of support by fans and friends.

Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA took it a step further and dedicated a song to Walker. After Walker’s costar RZA heard the news, he composed the piano ballad Destiny Bends with his two sons and vocalist Will Wells.

RZA and Walker, who star in the upcoming crime drama Brick Mansion, shared a respect for each other’s art and were both fathers. He posted the song on his SoundCloud page last night with a heartfelt written message, which detailed his friendship with Walker.

“I met Paul on the set of the film Brick Mansion, where we talked, laughed, and exchanged ideas of life and fatherhood,” RZA said. “I only knew him personally for less than a year, but we knew each other through our work and art. We saw in each other a kindred spirit of men coming from unlikely circumstances, and rising to be the light and beacon of our family and loved ones.”

Brick Mansion is due in theaters in November 2014.
