Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin, III is banking on being the leader of the team for years to come.

The Heisman Trophy winner bought a 9,000 square foot mansion in the prestigious Creighton Farms golf course community for $2.5 million. The mansion was built in 2010 and includes five bathrooms, six bathrooms, a wet bar, gourmet kitchen, game room, wine cellar, elevator and three-car garage, Zillow reports.

The mansion is in a gated community that features a Jack Nicklaus golf course. It is 30 miles outside of Washington and 20 miles from Redskins Park in Ashburn.

RG3, who is recovering from knee surgery, signed a four-year, $21 million rookie contract in 2012 that is fully guaranteed. This mansion compliments the alleged Bentley he bought for his fiancée, Rebecca Liddicoat.
