Rihanna is back in New York and making the media rounds to talk about being a philanthropic partner with MAC cosmetics.

On Wednesday, RiRi stopped by Good Morning America and dished all the details to Robin Roberts. The 25-year old even revealed her feeling about winning a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album for Unapologetic.

“I was so shocked,” said RiRi, who was at home when she heard the news from a friend. “It was quite an emotional moment, surprisingly. I was in shock, I’m excited. It was a good feeling to still be that excited at this point in my career.”

Rihanna, wore a Channel suit, talked about being creative and philanthropic partners with MAC Cosmetics. She said she teamed up with the brand for a line of lipstick and lipglass, with all proceeds going to the MAC Aids Fund.

RiRi hopes to raise $40 million while promoting safe sex amongst young people.

“I want you to have fun—I love having fun—but you have to be responsible, you have to be safe,” Rihanna said. “Protect yourself. You have to look out for yourself.”

Then Roberts changed subjects and wanted to get Rihanna’s thoughts on receiving the inaugural Icon Award at the American Music Awards in November.

“It is a very surreal feeling,” she said. “It’s almost like I can’t touch it. It was one of the those moments where I felt like I was dreaming. It didn’t feel real, it still doesn’t feel real because I feel like I still have so much more to do.”

Rihanna added, “Now the pressure’s on. I have to live up to that and I have to keep making my fans proud.”

When asked if fans can expect new music, she said, “Of course,” adding, “Music is what I love to do, so you never have to worry about me not doing that. I love doing that.”
