Project Child Support is not backing down from its claims that R. Kelly’s ex-wife Andrea Kelly hired them to help collect back child support from the singer.

A few days ago, Project Child Support issued a press release that claimed the Black Panties singer owed Andrea $114,000 in child support. The organization alleges the Hollywood Exes star hired them to help get a lump sum payment.

Kristen Foster, a representative on behalf of Kelly insisted the organization check their information because her client was up-to-date with his monthly payments. Oddly, Andrea stepped forward and defended Kelly as well.

Andrea’s attorney Alison Motta told TMZ that Kelly was a great father and they wanted Project Child Support to issue a retraction.

But Project Child Support will not write a retraction and is sticking to their story. LaChic Media, which wrote the organization press release, issued a 130-page  document on Monday that provides proof that lawyers for Andrea did contact Project Child Support for help.

“My media firm, which has been in business since 1996, operates in truth and would never knowingly lie or put out a press release stating lies, nor would we advise our clients to do so,” LaChic Media president Sibrena Stowe de Fernandez said. “Our client provided us with proof and we stand by Project Child Project Child Support and LaChic Media wanted to provide proof that Project Child Support initiative and Bounty Alert Foundation were in fact contracted to assist in the recovery of $114,900 in unpaid child support….”

Project Child Support CEO Kai D. Patterson also gave an explanation to why Andrea would lie about hiring them.

“It is my belief that our services were contracted to leverage negotiations between Mr. and Ms. Kelly, to force Mr. Kelly to pay his arrears,” Patterson said. “The type of services we provide as well as the success of our program is well documented and available online. I don’t believe that coincidently Mr. Kelly paid months of unpaid child support arrears only after Project Child Support was contracted to provide services to collect the arrears.”

In the 130-page document, Andrea’s lawyer allegedly told Patterson that the reality star could not afford to pay the $400 processing fee. She asked if the charge could be included to Kelly’s child support fees.

Kelly allegedly mismanaged her earnings from Hollywood Exes.
