Peyton Manning Dethrones Tim Tebow As NFL’s Jersey Sales Champion

Rucuss staffMay 30, 2012

Denver Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning is off to a great start for the 2012 season.

Manning hasn’t suited up for a game yet with his new team and he’s leading the NFL with jersey sales. The four-time regular-season MVP missed all last season for the Indianapolis Colts following four neck surgeries. He was then traded to the Broncos during the offseason as a free agent. Manning replaced former starter Tim Tebow who was the league sales leader before his arrival.

Now Tebow’s New York Jets jersey is in second place on the sales list. Rounding out the top four are rookies Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins, Andrew Luck of the Colts and Peyton’s younger brother Eli Manning of the Superbowl champions New York Giants.
