Tyga has some explaining to do.

Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend is in the headlines for not letting a legendary singer into his Grammy after-party at Los Angeles’ Argyle nightclub on Monday.

Paul McCartney tried and failed to get into Tyga’s party. And he wasn’t alone. The Beatles frontman was accompanied by Beck, Woody Harrelson, and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, but all three were denied entry at the door.

And it was all caught on video.

“How VIP do we gotta get?” McCartney asked, before joking: “We need another hit.”

When Tyga left the party, he called McCartney a legend but said he didn’t know anything about the party rejection.

No worries for Sir Paul, he ended up going to the Republic Records after-party, where Taylor Swift and The Weeknd were celebrating their Grammy wins.

On Tuesday, Tyga addressed the rejection, tweeting, “Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He’s a legend.”
