Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has officially signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports.

The move was expected for two weeks, since Durant told his former agent Rob Pelinka that he was leaving because he wanted to partner with Jay-Z. Durant showed his excitement of the deal by posting a photo on Instagram of the two signing contracts.

Durant posted the photo below with the caption: “Grateful for this opportunity with Roc Nation Sports. It’s go time.” Jay-Z also said, “He has a 90.5 percent free throw shooting rate, the youngest player in NBA history to join the 50-40-90, a giving individual and a legend in the making. What more can I say?”

This is a huge feat for Roc Nation because Durant is one of the most marketable athletes in all of sports, having endorsement deals with Gatorade, Nike, Sprint, Skullcandy headphones, BBVA Compass, 2K Sports and Panini America. Although Durant will be a full client of the firm, the NBA star doesn’t need a contract agent because he signed an $85 million extension with the Thunder in 2010 that will take him through the 2015-16 season.

Durant is the latest addition to the growing roster at Roc Nation Sports. The  agency also represents New York Yankees all-star second baseman Robinson Cano, New York Jets quarterback Eugene “Geno” Smith III and WNBA Tulsa Shock star Skylar Diggins.
