NBA Player Dwight Howard and Girlfriend Christine Vest Welcome Baby Boy [Details]

Los Angeles Lakers star Dwight Howard and his girlfriend Christine Vest welcomed a baby boy over the weekend.

Howard, who allegedly has four other children, was present when Vest gave birth in a deluxe suite at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The “Deluxe Maternity Suites” prices range from $2,847 to $4,030 per day and include an in-room refrigerator stocked with chilled juices and bottled water, three meals per day for both parents, a flat screen television, a hotel-style robe, and for an added fee salon services such as a haircut and mani-pedis are available.

According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian had allegedly booked one of the suites but since she gave birth five weeks early, all of the rooms were in use, so she was put in a different unit at the hospital. Vest was giving birth at the same time.

Neither Howard or Vest have confirmed the pregnancy, but Vest did tweet on Wednesday, “I’m happier than i’ve ever been.” Shortly after, Howard’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his first child Royce Reed tweeted the photo below with: “Congratulations to Dwight & Christine on the birth of their baby boy! Bray has a baby brother!….I hear wedding bells in the future!!!” 

Many of Reed’s followers slammed the former reality star for throwing shade because the couple has never publicly admitted to a pregnancy or even dating. Not to mention, Howard and Reed don’t get along and he’s suing her for sole custody of their son.

But Royce claims she was genuine. She tweeted, “Why some of y’all trynna make drama out of a joyous occasion? If u found a
congratulatory message messy check yoself! I’m blunt I don’t sub!”

Rumors of Vest’s pregnancy began a few months back when a woman on Twitter blasted Howard for cheating on Vest. Neither responded to the claims but Vest did post the photo below of the two on Twitter with the caption: “My favorite place in the world.”

Black Media Scoop reports Reed allegedly tweeted the photo above with the caption; “You can say what u want but there’s no drama between us! #SiblingLove! Love u girl @hopealexa always!”
