Buckwild star Shain Gandee was found dead, along with his uncle and a friend.

Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department Cpl. B.D. Humphreys said the 21-year-old, his uncle, 48-year-old David Gandee and 27-year old Robert Myers were found Monday morning in a truck near Sissonville.

ABC affiliate WCHS-TV reports a man on a four-wheeler spotted the three unresponsive people in a truck on Wolf Pen Road. After emergency services responded, the three were confirmed dead.

Relatives had been searching for the two since early Sunday morning. The men were last seen around 3 a.m. Sunday at a bar in Sissonville. Family members said the men had planned on riding their all-terrain vehicles but didn’t say where.

Humphreys said no foul play is expected.

“We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident,” a spokesperson for MTV said in a statement. “We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly.”

Shain was one of the most popular cast members on Buckwild, earning the nickname “Gandee Candy” for his wild stunts and sunny disposition. MTV announced in February that it had ordered a second season of Buckwild, which focuses on Gandee and eight other friends living in rural West Virginia.

UPDATE: On Tuesday, the coroner ruled the deaths were accidental. The men died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
