Miguel let his emotions get the best of him after he read a negative comment from a fan.
After a tough week that included him accidentally drop kicking a fan in the face during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards, Miguel lashed out at Black people calling them the most judgmental in the world on Monday. The 27-year-old singer, who is of both Black and Mexican-American decent, went on a Twitter rant after a fan said the singer sold his soul.
“The real know you’ve already sold your soul, you proved it in your prayer “Use Me” clearly wasn’t to God! Can’t fool us all,” the fan wrote. “You even sent warning in “Dont look back” you did what you thought you had to, just know the rewards are only temporary! You might need to read the words to your own song, exactly who were you asking to “Sedate you? Give control? To curse you?” Nothing self righteous at all about what I said, the lyrics are crystal clear! Just pointing out the obvious. Deception is real! Soon we will all believe right is wrong and wrong is right!”
Miguel, who made TIME magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, began his rant with the tweet, “Dont be an idiot, there is no “prayer” in use me. take that over zealous self-righteousness elsewhere.” Then Miguel began to talk about black people. Check out his Twitter rant below.
The Adorn singer makes it clear in his Twitter bio, ‘Dont follow Me, I’m trouble.’ So Miguel did give his more than 500,000 Twitter followers fare warning.
