Comedian Marlon Wayans is returning to television.

Its been sixteen years since Wayans starred in “The Wayans Bros.” Now, the comedian is ready to take another crack at prime time television. According to Deadline, Wayans signed a deal with ABC to write, executive produce and star in a single/multi-camera comedy.

The TV show is about two brothers who are cops that are forced to move in together. One of the brothers falls on hard times, and moves in with the other’s family. Wayans will play the married brother.

Wayans will executive produce with his manager Lisa Blum and longtime producing partner Rick Alvarez of Wayans Bros Entertainment. Alvarez runs the entertainment company with Keenan Ivory Wayans and Shawn Wayans.

Wayans is currently working on “The Richard Pryor” movie. He replaced comedian Mike Epps as the legend. The actor has appeared in In Living Color, as well as White Chicks, Mo Money and The Scary Movie films.
