Filming has officially begun for new spin off show Love & Hip Hop Houston.

But things have not gotten off to a smooth start. According to several sources and eyewitnesses, production had to be shut down on Friday night after guns were pulled on set and the cast and crew were threatened.

According to multiple sources, a fight broke out on set and guns were drawn. Although it’s unclear why things got to a violent level, sources revealed things escalated after a fight broke out between cast member Jhonni Blaze and another unidentified woman. Blaze was celebrating her birthday that night.

It got chaotic after more people got involved. At least one producer and several cameramen had guns put in their faces. Production of the show has been postponed until Mona Scott-Young and other producers can make sure that their camera crews, staff, and the reality stars can be assured they will be safe.

The cast is rumored to include Blaze, Mehgan James from Basketball Wives LA and Bad Girls Club, Kirko Bangz, The Charlo Twins, J. Prince Jr., The Sauce Twins, Just Brittany, Lil Keith, VLive strip club DJ Eric, and Propain.

A man who goes by “Dead End Redd” posted a video on Instagram about the night. Check out what he had to say about what went down with Blaze and the camera crews on Friday night in the video below.
