Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has been crowned the top rated show on VH1.

The spin-off of the popular New York based docu-series centers around the lives of six women who have tides to the music industry either by relationship or career. It has become America’s secret past time.

The latest episode gained a series high of 3.5 million viewers, with another 2.1 million who caught the repeat at 10 p.m. The show has seen a steady spike in ratings since its opening at 1.9 million in its first airing in June, the Access Atlanta reports. The website even revealed that the show is pulling in more viewers than Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta during its fourth season.

The show has also boost the ratings of Single Ladies, which follows afterwards. Although there have been complaints by some viewers about departure of Stacey Dash, the show hit a series high 2.66 million viewers last Monday.

There has been no official word if VH1 has agreed to another season but many assume it’s a go because of the success of the show. But there will be a few casting changes, StraightFromtheA reports.

The website claims Rasheeda’s husband/manager Kirk Frost will not be returning. The couple is still happily married and Frost wants to keep it that way. The show is adding stress and pressure to their marriage.

Rapper Diamond and her boyfriend/rapper Soulja Boy are allegedly joining the cast next season. Diamond was a apart of the original line up but she quit when her ex-boyfriend Lil Scrappy and his mother Momma Dee joined the cast.

When Diamond was asked about what she thought about the show at the BET Awards, she said: “I wish everybody the best. I feel like only one person can judge me, and that’s God. That’s my past. I’m in the future right now, and I wish everybody the best.”

Diamond apparently has had a change of heart.
