NBA players and celebrities attended the South Florida All-Star Classic charity game on Saturday.

The game was hosted by Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade, Lebron James and Chris Bosh at Florida International University. Fans paid $100 and up to watch the game benefiting Mary’s Court Foundation. The foundation was established in honor of FIU coach Isiah Thomas’ late mother Mary Thomas. They donated $100,000 to the scholarship fund at FIU.

Comedian Kevin Hart coached the winning team, Team Brand Jordan (Wade). Wade’s team included John Wall, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudimere, Caron Butler, Mario Chalmers and others.

Team Nike (Lebron) was coached by Udonis Haslem. Lebron’s teammates included Russell Westbrook, Bosh, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, Damon Jones among others.

Floyd Mayweather, DJ Khaled, Mack Maine, Gabrielle Union and DJ Clue were in attendance.

During the press conference, Wade said he did the same routine like any NBA game. He ate a pregame meal, got a massage and did a long shooting workout. When asked about the
lockout, Wade told the press:

“This is very unfortunate, this situation, to be in when you have two sides
that at the end of the day have the same goal, just two different ways of
getting there.”

He also added,

“…We’re here tonight, giving back to our fans and what they deserve and
letting them know that no matter what’s going on with our situation, we’re going
to play the game and play at a high level.”
