Brooklyn Nets star Kris Humphries is being sued by a woman who claims he gave her herpes.

Kayla Goldberg filed a lawsuit that alleges the two met in August 2010 at the Newsroom Cafe in Los Angeles. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the NBA player had unprotected sex with Goldberg and a week later she was diagnosed with herpes.

Goldberg and Humphries allegedly exchanged numbers and later met up at Trousdale nightclub back in 2010. Goldberg alleges the two had sex, which included oral sex, multiple times. She claims that during a portion of the sexual encounter Kris did not wear a condom.

TMZ reports:

The lawsuit claims Kris did not inform Kayla he had herpes — and she claims in the suit that he did indeed have the disease.

Kayla says a week later she was diagnosed with herpes. Her symptoms included a sore throat, fever, body aches and immobilizing pain, as well as extreme vaginal irritation and painful lesions on her genitalia.

She’s suing for sexual battery claiming Kris knew he had herpes when they hooked up and didn’t tell her. Kayla — who put her  full name in the lawsuit — is suing for unspecified damages.

Humphries denies the allegagtions. He told Gossip Cop that he’s “100 percent sure” he didn’t give Goldberg herpes. Humphries’ rep told the website the lawsuit is “completely bogus,” and revealed that Goldberg’s attorney reached out to Kris’ lawyer last winter and demanded $24 million, noting that she wouldn’t “take less than $1 million,” or she’d go public with her allegations.

Humphries is currently in the middle of a long and drawn out divorce from Kim Kardashian. The two were only married for 72 days before Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011. Humphries is suing for an annulment, citing fraud, and a divorce trial is not expected to go forward until 2013.
