Kevin Hart Will Host 2012 MTV VMAs, Shoots Promo With Kanye & Kim [Video]

Comedian Kevin Hart will be the host of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

Hart announced his new gig on Wednesday with a new promo video. In the clip, Hart, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian appear in the short video. Hart tries to come up with nicknames for the trio because he wants to be a part of the ‘it’ couple.

Kanye West is sitting up on the bed while Kim is laying down while wearing a pair of the Chicago rapper’s Air Yeezy 2′s. The MTV Video Music Awards are scheduled to air on Sept. 6.
