Kanye West may want to limit his interviews after a heated exchange with radio host Sway on Tuesday.

After West was interviewed by New York’s Power 105 Breakfast Club, the Yeezus rapper lost his cool during an interview on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning. While West was being interviewed by Sway Calloway, he flipped his lid when he questioned him about corporations not giving him a chance.

“I’m standing up and I’m telling you, I am Warhol,” West said. “I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh. Walt Disney, Nike, Google—now who’s gon’ be the Medici family and stand up and let me create more? Or do you want to marginalize me till I’m out of my moment?”

Sway responded, “Or why don’t you empower yourself and don’t need them and do it yourself?”

West didn’t like Sway’s question and quickly replied, “How Sway?! You ain’t got the answers, man. You ain’t got the answers. I’ve been doing this more than you. You ain’t been doing the education. You don’t have the answers, though because you tryna give me advice about something. You ain’t spent $13 million a year tryna empower yourself?

Sway explained that he has spent hundreds of thousands on his clothing line, to which West said, “And it ain’t no Ralph [Lauren] though. What’s the name of your clothing line? We don’t know.”

Sway tried to diffuse the situation.

“Hold up, let me finish my question, Dawg. Why is that you can’t?,” Sway said. “You ain’t gotta turn up, this ain’t no f*ckin show…Man, listen bro…I’m asking you a question…We here talkin’ as civilized people…You ain’t gotta turn up man-to-man dawg…F*ck these mics, we can turn off this sh*t off..you ain’t gotta do this, it’s cool..I love you bro..Don’t try to embarrass us…

West replied, “I’m not trying to embarrass y’all. All I’m trying to say is this industry that I’m trying to get into. Ain’t nobody ever broke down. I’m not trying to disrespect your show, we all slaves. I love you man, I’m sorry.”
