Jamaican Dancehall Star Elephant Man Charged With Rape! [Details]

Dancehall star Elephant Man was arrested in Jamaica on Monday after being accused of raping a women inside his home.
Elephant man, whose real name is O’Neill Bryan, was questioned by police before they decided the woman’s story held up. The 36-year-old artist was charged with grievous sexual assault and rape and released on bail of $4,637.95.
Elephant man, who had the international hit “Pon De River’ in 2003, was the target of a police investigation following a complaint by the victim last month. He is scheduled in court for a preliminary hearing on May 21.
