One of the most expensive weddings in the world took place in China.

Angelababy, one of the most famous Chinese actresses, married Huang Xiaoming in a wedding that reportedly cost nearly 200 million yuan, which is equivalent to $43 million.

The bride, whose real name is Yeung Wing, has one of the most followed Weibo accounts in the world. It is China’s largest microblog. Angelababy married her beau at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in front of 2,000 guests.

The venue was decorated in pinks and purples, with the hall transformed into a romantic fairytale set that included a castle projected via hologram and lights displayed in the shapes of stain-glass windows. There was also a giant wall of white flowers for photo opps.

Angelababy, who is dubbed the Kim Kardashian of China, wore a custom Dior couture gown that had a 10-foot-long train. Nearly a hundred flower bouquets of Chantilly lace were cut and stitched by hand on the fabric. Each rose is composed of seven layers of muslin, colored pink using an airbrush. Xiaoming wore a made-to-measure Tom Ford tuxedo.

A traditional ceremony also took place, with Angelababy wearing a gold dress with a high neck and thigh-high slit, while Xiaoming wore a traditional black silk Changsam. She also changed for the party, wearing a red (the color is symbolic for love and prosperity) and white mini dress. Check out more photos from the wedding below.
