Beyoncé made plenty of facial expressions during her Super Bowl halftime performance and now she’s paying for it.
Photographers captured the Love On Top singer belting out her biggest hits while in between hard and heavy dancing during her 13-minute set at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday. She wowed the crowd with her performance and many websites posted the video along with photos the next day.
But Beyoncé didn’t like all the images posted. Buzzfeed claims Beyoncé’s publicist asked them to remove seven photos of her immediately from the site. The photos were in an article entitled “The 33 Fiercest Moments From Beyoncé’s Halftime Show.”
Her publicist, Yvette, emailed staff at the website asking them to “respectfully” change some of the photos and gave a list of which ones.
“I am certain that you will be able to find some better photos,” Yvette wrote, before pointing out: “The worst (pictures) are #5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19 and 22.”
Buzzfeed didn’t oblige Beyoncé’s request and they still remain on the site. Check out the photos below.
Meanwhile, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) slams Beyonce for wearing python skin, iguana skin and leather during her performance.
A PETA spokesperson told the New York Daily News, “We would take a bet that if Beyonce watched our video exposes, she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully. Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.”
