Former WNBA player Chamique Holdsclaw is in a world of trouble after an alleged domestic violence incident with her ex-girlfriend Tulsa Shock player Jennifer Lacy.

Holdsclaw was arrested Thursday night after surrendering to police, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The former University of Tennessee basketball star was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.

Yahoo! Sports reports that the incident took place after Holdsclaw asked to put some things in Lacy’s car on Tuesday. But instead of the women going their separate ways, Holdsclaw began following Lacy as Lacy drove to meet a friend.

Once Lacy reached her destination, Holdsclaw allegedly exited her vehicle, smashed in the windows of Lacy’s Land Rover with a baseball bat, fired a gun inside the vehicle and fled the scene.

TMZ reports that police recovered a 9 mm shell casing at the scene. Lacy was uninjured but said she felt scared when Holdsclaw was following her, according to the police report.

Holdsclaw has been released from jail with an ankle monitor. She was ordered to not contact Lacy. Her court date is scheduled for Nov. 30.

Holdsclaw retired from the WNBA in 2007 after playing 12 seasons. She was the No. 1 pick in the 1999 draft and played on the U.S. Olympic team in the 2000 Games, winning the gold medal. The 35-year old wrote a memoir, “Breaking Through: Beating the Odds Shot after Shot,” whiched detailed her battle with depression and an attempted suicide.
