Drake Reportedly in Talks with Apple for $19 Million Deal [Details]

The Trophies rapper is reportedly demanding a large lump sum to be a part of Apple’s streaming service. Drake is in talks with Apple to sign a $19 million deal to be a guest DJ for iTunes Radio, along with other duties,

According to the New York Post, Drake is just one of the artists Apple hopes to land for its $10-a-month streaming service. Pharrell Williams and David Guetta are reportedly also in talks to serve as guest DJs for the revamped iTunes Radio.

Apple Music will combine the best of Pandora, Spotify, and YouTube into one service. There will be streaming music and video, artist pages, a YouTube-style sharing section called Apple Connect, and a reworked version of iTunes Radio.

Apple is expected to announce the new service during its Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8 in San Francisco.
