Jennifer Hudson doesn’t want to meet her fiance David Otunga halfway.

Hudson is putting her foot down. The Weight Watchers spokeswoman wants Otunga to give up his career as a WWE wrestler. The National Enquirer, which doesn’t have a reputation for getting facts straight, claims Hudson wants Otunga to concentrate on his law career.

“It’s really hurting their romance and their life together,” a source told the Enquirer. The source added Otunga landed a coveted position at a prestigious law firm, “but now he’s having too much fun as a wrestler.”

The National Enquirer reports that Hudson is devestated Otunga won’t give up wrestling. Otunga, a Harvard Law graduate, chose to put his dream of being an attorney on hold while he pursues his wrestling career.

This isn’t the first time that there were reports of a rift between the couple. Star magazine reported last October that the two called off their engagement because of Jennifer’s career obsession, commitment issues and reluctance to have more children. Hudson’s rep quickly denied those reports.

A month earlier, there were reports that the couple decided to put the wedding on hold. claimed Otunga refused to sign a pre-nup.

Otunga competed on VH1’s “I Love New York 2” in 2007. Otunga, who was called Punk on the show, finished as runner-up. Shortly after his departure from the show, he began dating Hudson. The Chicago natives met through a mutual friend.

Otunga proposed to Hudson in 2008 after less than a year of dating. The couple has a two-year old son, David, Jr.
