Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has kept a low profile for most of the year.

With the exception of hosting various parties and attending red carpet events, Diddy has been out of the limelight. But that hasn’t stopped him from raking in plenty of money.

The Bad Boy mogul tops the 2013 list of hip-hop’s top 20 earners on Forbes Cash Kings list. Diddy earned $50 million over the past 12 months to gain the top spot. He managed to accumulate millions of dollars because of Diageo’s Ciroc vodka, Bad Boy, Sean John clothing line, and Blue Flame marketing agency.

Jay-Z comes in at No.2 with $43 million. Hov earned his dough because of his tour, Armand de Brignac champagne, D’Ussé cognac, and Roc Nation label and management firm. He also collected $5 million from Samsung, who purchased 1 million copies of his album Magna Carta… Holy Grail.

Dr. Dre. who held the top spot a year ago, falls to No. 3 with $40 million. Nicki Minaj come in at No. 4 with $29 million. Minaj, who is the only female on the list, edges out her YMCMB leader Birdman with $21 million.
