Diddy reigns as king amongst hip hop’s most wealthiest.

With an estimated net worth of $550 million, Diddy is the top earner on the Forbes Five Hip Hop list. Diddy has accumulated most of his large fortune in recent years with his investments in Ciroc Vodka, his Sean John clothing line and his Blue Flame marketing company.

Diddy will continue to rake in the dough with his recent deal with Comcast that will see him launch his own TV network, Revolt, next year. Diddy is indeed the man. Oh yeah, he still has Bad Boy Records too!

Jay-Z was No. 2 with a net worth of $460 million. He raked in the dough by selling his clothing line Rocawear for $204 million back in 2007. He also struck a $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation in 2008.

Dr. Dre came in at No. 3 with a net worth of $270 million. He’s accumulated plenty of that money with a stake in Beats Electronics, which makes the popular Beats By Dr. Dre headphone line.

Cash Money co-founder Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams is No. 4 with $125 million. The succesful label have a roster of artists that include Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. He also co-owns an oil business and book publishing company.

Rapper 50 Cent rounds out the top five list with $110 million. 50 gained the bulk of his money from the $100 million he earned through the sale of Vitamin Water back in 2007. He also has a lucrative music publishing catalog and his music career where he commands huge performance fees. 50’s new headphone line Sync by 50 Cent, energy shot Street King, G-Unit Records, film production company and books and Cheetah Vision will also help bring in more dough over the next couple of years.
