Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is accomplishing big things as a player this season.

The 23-year old won his third consecutive scoring title and has helped the Thunder win the Western Conference for a chance at the NBA championship next week. And whether or not he is able to hoist up the championship trophy after the finals, Durant will set his sights at conquering Hollywood.

Durant has a role in the upcoming film Thunderstruck. Its a kids movie about a high school athlete who goes from a sub par basketball player to a high-flying phenom after somehow absorbing Durant’s skill after meeting him.

TNT debuted the trailer during Wednesday’s coverage after the Thunder beat San Antonio in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals. Actor Jim Belushi stars in the movie while WNBA Sparks star Candace Parker, TNT’s Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith makes cameos.

It was only a matter of time before another NBA player tried to act again. Remember former NBA players Michael Jordan tried his luck at the movie, Space Jam, and Shaquille O’Neal also tried it in Kazaam.
