Bobby Brown Shopping Around Biopic, Wants Bobbi Kristina to Costar [Details]

A script on the life of Bobby Brown is being shopped around in Hollywood.

Brown teamed up with Michael Pinckney on the project and wrote the script The Bad Boy of R&B: The Bobby Brown Story. The script made its way around Hollywood last fall but there was little interest at the time.

Now that Whitney Houston has passed there is a deal in the works, CarltonJordon reports. However, since Houston’s sudden death, the end of the script needs to be rewritten. But the couple’s marriage is only touched on briefly.

According to RadarOnline, Brown wants his estranged daughter, Bobbi Kristina, to costar with him in the movie. But that could be wishful thinking on his part. Last week it was reported that Bobbi Kristina wants to cut off all ties with Brown, including changing her name to ‘Kristina Houston.’

Here’s a brief description about the script that was written in November 2011:

The film exposes Bobby’s darker side and puts his private demons on public display.

Pinckney is an up and coming director who is Spike Lee’s protegé. He has credits as a first or second assistant director on films that include Tower Heist, Precious, and Inside Man.
