Birdman and Young Thug have been accused of plotting to kill Lil Wayne.

An indictment filed in Cobb County, Ga., it alleges that there was a conspiracy when Weezy’s tour buses were shot up in Atlanta in April. Jimmy Carlton Winfrey was arrested on June 2 in connection with the shooting. Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Winfrey claims he did it to gain “street cred” with Blood gang members.

Winfrey is an associate of Young Thug’s and is signed to Cash Money. Most notably Winfrey made a call to a phone number owned by Young Thug right before the shooting and to one owned by Birdman right afterwards, as reported by the Associated Press.

Winfrey, Wayne, Jeffery Lamar Williams aka Young Thug, and Bryan Williams aka Birdman, are all members of the Bloods and were involved in a RICO conspiracy. Winfrey appears in a Young Thug video released a few weeks after the incident that contains a lyrical threat to shoot Wayne. He also waves a rifle at the camera at the appropriate moment.

The rifle is the same kind of assault rifle prosecutors allege was used in the shooting. He also had a (now-deleted) Instagram picture of the kind and color of car he was seen driving at the scene of the shooting. Winfrey attempted to get away to Miami to hide the car, but police recovered it.

Winfrey was indicted in June on six charges that includes aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct, and discharging a weapon near the street. Young Thug and Birdman were not charged in the incident.

This is the latest development in an ongoing feud between Birdman and Lil Wayne. On Sunday night, Birdman allegedly dumped a drink on Wayne during an appearance at LIV nightclub in Miami.

Wayne is suing Baby for $51 million and his release from Cash Money Records.
