Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore made a public appearance together over the weekend.

The couple, who did not spend their sixth wedding anniversary together, reunited at the Kaballah Center for the Jewish New Year on Friday. They both wore their wedding rings to the event but arrived separately.

It was a surprise to see the two together after rumors of a breakup hit the media last week. It also didn’t help that Kutcher and Moore stopped following each other on Twitter. If you search the 671 people the Two and a Half Men star follows, Moore is not one of them. The website also discovered that Moore stopped following Ashton too.

It was speculation that the marriage was over after rumors of infidelity by Kutcher. According to Star Magazine, Kutcher hooked up with a 23-year old woman named Sara Leal. The two met up on Sept. 23, which was a day before his sixth wedding anniversary.

“It was definitely a long time coming, but they’re finally done for good,” an insider told Star. “Ashton was a serial cheater, and Demi just couldn’t take it anymore. She didn’t deserve to live that way. It’s a painful time for Demi.”

Kutcher and Moore did not spend their anniversary together. Kutcher chose to hang out at Fluxx nightclub in San Diego.

Neither of them reached out to each other on Twitter the day of their anniversary. The day before Moore tweeted, “When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger. -Epictetus.”

Kutcher hasn’t directly addressed rumors that he cheated on Moore with Leal. But he tweeted, “When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of, you make an ASS out of U and ME.” Earlier in the day, he linked to the Public Enemy classic, “Don’t Believe the Hype.”

The couple has turned to their religion and have been receiving counselling throughout the summer in order to save their marriage.
