Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez can’t wait to prove the haters wrong.

Well, that’s what Hernandez wrote in a handwritten letter from jail to an unidentified person. TMZ, which obtained the letter, reports that it verified the document with law enforcement and it is indeed a note written by Hernandez from his cell.

Although Hernandez begged the person to, “Keep this off social media PLEASE!” it still managed to find its way to the media.  No word on whether Hernandez meant for the letter to leak intentionally. He insists he has “always been a great person” and that he will play in the NFL again.

His future has yet to be determined, but it appears Hernandez won’t be wearing a NFL jersey anytime soon. Hernandez currently faces a charge of murder, as well as additional weapons charges, stemming from the death of Odin Lloyd in June. Police believe Hernandez was the shooter. Authorities have video and photos of Hernandez holding a gun the night of the murder.Former NFL Player Aaron Hernandez Caught Holding Gun on Surveillance Camera! Search crews have been searching the waters for two days. “I know everything happens for a reason and I know ‘God’ has a plan for me and something good will come out of this,” Hernandez wrote. “The world just makes things of false accusations and it will all die down especially when they say NOT GUILTY and all the people who have turned on me will feel like crap.”
